Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL and Ascend G600 gets price drop

Good news everyone! Huawei announced through their local Facebook page that two of their phones are now available for a lower price. These are the Huawei Ascend D1 Quad XL and the Huawei Ascend G600. More details after the jump.

Cherry Mobile has just revealed an upcoming mobile that is going to be available in stores starting next week: Skyfire's successor, the Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0. Western Digital partners with Sandisk for WD Black Solid State Hybrid Drives

Last week, we featured the two newest ultra-slim hard drives from Western Digital: the WD Blue and WD Black. In this article, we'll know more about the WD Black, a latest innovation made through a partnership with one of the prominent leaders when it comes to flash memory storage solutions, Sandisk. Apparently, Sandisk is supplying a Sandisk ISSD storage device for the WD Black solid state hybrid drive. Know more after the jump.

Western Digital Philippines outs WD Blue and WD Black: world's first 5mm 2.5-inch hard drive

Portable. Thinnest. These terms are what every tech firm or manufacturer want on their every products, from cellphones to laptops. Of course, who wouldn't want something that fits in your pockets or bag without having to experience inconvenience and hassle. On a manufacturer's view, creating the thinnest, most portable yet powerful products would be the ultimate goal.

And hard drives come to play too. Laptops, especially ultrabooks, needs small and thin components to fit on their slim casings.
